June 2nd   …    Washington County Council on Aging on South Boulevard in Chipley is hosting “Game Day” from Noon -2:30 p.m.

 

June 3rd   …   ‘Squirrel, Girls & Pearls’  starting at 10 a.m. at Falling Waters State Park.  The entire day is ‘About Women, By Women and For Women’.  Parking fee is $5.00 per car load.  The day’s program will include Women’s Health Services, Beauty & Household Vendors, Artists & Crafters, Antiques & Plants, along with great food, and music by DJ Orwat.   Included is a Canned Food Drive for the Care &Share Food Pantry in Chipley.

 

June 5th   …   DISNEYDAYS at the Chipley Library.  Free movie showing  at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

 

June 5th – 9th   …   VBS at Oakie Ridge Baptist Church.  Open to children 3K – 6th Grade.  Free meals each night.  For more information call 352-603-2488.

 

June 5th   …   Vernon City Council Workshop at 7 p.m.

 

June 6th   …   Washington County Council on Aging will be distributing Farmer’s Market Coupons beginning at 8:00 a.m. Distribution will be on a first come, first served basis, however, doors do not open until 8 a.m. Participants must be 60 or older with an income no higher than 185% of Federal Poverty guidelines and have a Washington County address. Participants must bring driver license and proof of income. If someone is picking up for you, they must have a Power of Attorney.
