Plates are $10.00 and include “all the fish you can eat” as well as sides, sweet tea, and a dessert. Carry-outs are available ($7.00/Person). March 28   ….   2015 Wausau Annual Community Easter Celebration. Parade at 10 a.m. followed by fun at the Wausau Possum Palace.

 

March 28th   …   PawsFest in Headland, Alabama.  From 10 a.m. until 2p.m. on the square in beautiful Downtown Headland.  You can enjoy pet pageants, contests, demonstrations, games, music and vendors.

 

March 28th   …   Pancake & Sausage Breakfast at the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement in Blountstown .

March 28th   …    The Northwest Florida Gulf Coast Beekeepers Association is hosting its first annual workshop in Mary Esther. The topics will include: understanding bee behavior, introduction to beekeeping, honey, and the cottage food industry law in Florida. The event will feature hands-on demonstrations of how to raise bees, collect honey, and build beehives.

 

March 28th   …  Easter Egg Hunt from 1-3 p.m. at H.G. Harders Park, 8110 John Pitts Road in Panama City.  Separate hunting areas cordoned off for 3-5-year olds and toddlers.  The Easter Bunny makes a special appearance at 1 p.m. for photographs, s parents should take a camera.  Egg hunting begins at 1:30 p.m. with prizes for the child who finds a golden egg in each age group.  Refreshments will be available for purchase.

April 4th-5th    …   Chipley Gun & Knife Show at the Ag Center in Chipley.  Cost of admission is $5.00.  This event features not only firearms for hunting and self-protection, but knives, fishing tackle and a variety of other goods used for outdoor recreation.

 

April 4th    ….   4th Annual Celebrate the Arts from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Harley-Davidson of Panama City Beach, 14700 Panama City Beach Parkway. Local artist’s market, fashion show, celebrity lunch auction, wine and cheese tasting, food and drinks for sale, children’s activities, live entertainment by the Natalie Reynolds Band. Admission is $10 and included raffle tickets.

May 15th-16th   …   The 4th annual Marianna Municipal Airport Fly-in set for May 15th-16th has a busy Friday night and a day full of aircraft, demonstrations, fly overs, helicopter rides in HUEY and COBRAs, FAA Young Eagles rides, Chipola remote control aircraft, vendors on Saturday.

June 6th  …    Fisherman’s Choice Youth Fishing Tournament. Charles and Rex Pennycuff will host their 15th annual Fisherman’s Choice Youth Fishing Tournament on June 6th. Kids 16 and under will fish for fresh and saltwater species. Each entry receives a t-shirt, and after the tournament, entrees are invited to attend a cookout at Fisherman’s Choice in Eastpoint. Entry is free and generally about 200 kids sign up.

June 19th-21st   ….    Annual Big Bend Saltwater Classic.  The Moorings of Carrabelle will host the 24rd Annual Big Bend Classic on Father’s Day Weekend.  All of the proceeds from the Big Bend Saltwater Classic are used to develop artificial reefs in the Northeastern Gulf of Mexico.
