When a family misplaces a baby in this type of situation, they are to (and must) be held accountable. To be held accountable, all the facts are usually laid out for public view. This is the price they pay for being careless ---- and negligent.

also the babys weight my son was under weight quite a bit til he was about 6 because he was premature just over 2 months and weighed a whole 3lbs his doc said he would be under weight til he was bout 5 - 7 years old! I just actually looked at his website and his weight was 13lbs at 7 months old! I HAVE NOT READ ANYTHING WHERE THE AUTHORITIES SAY THEY ARE RETARDED I DID READ THEM SAYING RUMORS ARE UNTRUE!!!

Look at this without judgement.It has been said that the mother and father are both mentally ill. They do not have a car. Is it possible family member took her? If not and it is found that the baby is dead depending on how far away they found the body would show whether the parents were involved.As far as body weight. The baby could be Failure To Thrive, possibly from another underlying medical condition.Timeline is not off to me. When kids were small I worked nights, they slept when I slept.

I dont know what the parents had but i do agree that it seems like people just wanna bash people and so what if they slept later my son stays up or cant sleep when he was sick and at this age and sometimes we didnt sleep til almost 4 am and yes we would sleep like 6 - 8 hours thats NORMAL! Who cares if they dont have a car alot of good parents dont and get rides! I dont know but this susan baker sounds very interesting so start focusing on someone who may have done it and stop BASHIN PEOPLE!!!

All of you who live in the area should be looking for the baby instead of wasting your time trashing the family. You think you know what is going on and you don't so get off your butts and help the situation not make it worse for the family. Our prayers go out to all involved and wish them the best of luck.

We have a right to speak our mind, anyhow has it been proven that the baby even went missing that day, is it possible that there is confusion, and the baby went missing sooner, like Wed, thur. Has any of that been considered?

I can't believe what some of you are saying about these people, even if you know the facts. And, I can't believe the "screener" allowed these comments to be posted. Some things are better left unsaid in public. But there are always people who readily jump at the opportunity to trash somebody else. There are other family members who are having to deal with this tragedy; please give them some peace and privacy. Could be a lawsuit waiting to happen.

it is all about this precious baby that we need to concern ourselves with not the parents if they did do something then they shall be punished. but right now its the baby we all need to pray for

yes the weight of the baby is very sad! Tina, and Rusty Dedrick are the parents name, they do not have a vehicle, and they are both mentally challenged! Good luck on that one!

ok, come on people, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out, they keep saying over again they searching around the home of where they live on brown street the woods, the old dump, people listen if Tina the mother of the baby did this, buried her whatever the situation is Tina is only like 5'2 maybe 90pnds soaking wet, she could dig a little hole maybe, but for all we know the baby could have gone missing wed, thurs, there just going by what the mom, and dad are saying!

Nobody has commented on the low weight of this baby. At 11 lbs, 95% of babies her age and length weigh more than this. Why all the secrecy about the parents' names, ages, mental condition, etc?
