Excitement Builds As Local Schools Ready For The Spectacle of ‘Friday Night Lights’ Football

Although plenty of warmth ahead, it’s arguable that the temperatures are definitely reflecting the approaching autumn weather, and with that comes the 2017 High School Football Season.

No football game would be complete without a fill complement of cheerleaders, and it is apparent at first glance that Northwest Florida offers up an assemblage of Southern beauties at every opportunity, as seen in these photos by Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.

In an effort to say ‘thanks’ to all who contribute to the spectacle, we are paying homage through this photo series to not just the football players, but the ROTC, coaches, marching bands, parents, teachers and support staff, cheerleaders and all who work ‘behind the scenes’ to bring you ‘Friday Night Lights’.

Join us on the local football gridirons every Friday evening as we celebrate victory and defeat, humility and pride, adversity and courage, passion and sportsmanship, aggression and technical skill- in not just a football game, but a representation of life in small town America, and why we live right here in ‘The Real Florida’.

See more photos, video clips and interviews on Facebook at Real Florida Magazine, online at, and listen to the broadcast of the football games and other local events on FPTC Radio, the voice of Florida Panhandle Technical College at
