Cedar tree planted at County Public Office in memory of Tom Terrell ………

Washington County Public Works employees started off their morning Thursday at the dedication of a tree planted  in memory of former Public Works Director Tom Terrell.

Remembered as an “outstanding person”  who set an example for others to follow,  Terrell was praised by those attending the dedication.


County officials said a cedar tree was selected in tribute to Terrell who “loved Christmas” and enjoyed distributing gifts to everyone possible.


Those at the dedication service said Terrell will be missed by everyone who knew him.
