Florida Panhandle Technical College ‘Rocket Camp 2017’ Finishes With A Bang in Chipley

The 2017 STEM Program ‘Rocket Camp’ finished with a bang, or a series of whooshes, at Florida Panhandle Technical College in downtown Chipley, Florida as STEM students, aspiring engineers and astronauts launched solid-fuel rockets, which they had built, on the FPTC campus on Friday, June 2, 2017, under the direction of retired engineer John Hansel, as seen in these photos by Real Florida Media, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.

The annual STEM camp, sponsored by Hansel, the Washington County School District, Florida Panhandle Technical College and corporate business partners, was considered a huge success, with imaginations sparked, dreams inspired and 40 students ready to face the next stage of their lives.
