‘Plow Day’ is all about helping others and having a good time ……

It was ‘Plow Day’ last Saturday at the Jerry Morris farm on Clayton Raod south of Chipley.

There was a great turn out March 4th for one of several ‘Plow Days’ held each year in Washington County.

Area farmers turned out to help friends start preparations for the spring planting season, as well as to enjoy one another’s company and a covered-dish meal.

The day’s activities also gave the older members of the farming community the opportunity to help the younger members learn about farming in the Florida Panhandle.
