The Vernon High School Key Club recently completed their first service project of the 2016-17 school year. On October 4th, members of the Vernon High School Key Club teamed up with One Blood, Inc. to collect donations of blood for those in need. Since 2008, students and faculty of Vernon High School have donated 583 units of blood! This carries the potential of having saved over 1682 lives!

The VHS Key Club is currently planning their 2nd blood drive of the year for the Spring of 2017. Currently, the club is teaming with the VHS Beta Club to assist with Operation Christmas Child. The students will be packing shoe boxes to send around the world to children in need.
