Thanking all those who stopped by the open house hosted at Brown Funeral Home Sunday afternoon owner Don Brown took the opportunity to thank all those who expressed their confidence in the firm.
Noting that the firm’s desire is to assist each of those entrusting the final arrangements of their loved ones to the funeral home, Brown said they work any way possible during the trying time to meet the needs of the families they serve.
Brown said the funeral home has recently added software that allows them to create a lasting video tribute for the families they serve. Through the use of family photos with added background music and themed video additions he said they are capable of producing a DVD that can be shown during the visitations and is given to the next of kin after the services.
Brown Funeral Home also posts obituaries to its website (with a photo if desired). Don Brown said the obituaries allow friends and family to sign an online register, which is convenient for out-of-town family members to send condolences if they are not able to attend.
