Rev. Milton Creel, 85, of Panama City, Florida, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 in a local hospital. He was born January 30, 1927 in Slocomb, Alabama. He had been a resident here since 1946, moving here from Graceville, Florida. He had a Doctorate of Ministry from Gulf Coast Seminary and served as a Minister from 1961 to 1989. He was a member of the Hiland Park Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Creel; and his parents, Dewey and Cleopatra Creel.
He is survived by four sons, David M. Creel and wife Rhonda, of Chipley, Florida, Michael L. Creel and wife Beverly of Panama City, Steven Creel and wife Tammy of Panama City, Ronald D. Creel and wife Phyllis of Dothan, Alabama; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; brother, Robert Creel and wife Becky; sisters, Edith White and Betty Farrabe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Fondren, Rev. Robert Creel and Rev. Steven Kyle officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. and also Thursday morning from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service.
